Solar Site survey
Before considering adding solar to your home, a solar site survey and analysis, should be conducted. This survey will tell you just how much solar energy is available at your site.
There is no better tool to conduct a solar site survey, than the Solar Pathfinder. The pathfinder allows you to get accurate measurements of the available solar energy on your site before deciding if solar is the right choice. The pathfinder software then takes all of the information and prints out an very accurate report of the total energy your new solar system will produce. Whether your doing a solar hot water system or a solar PV system, this software takes into account things like historical weather data along with the efficiency or your particular system and the shading as shown on the sunpath report generated from the pathfinder itself. Many grant opportunities for solar installations require a solar site survey to be conducted before consideration of grant funds.
The fee for a complete solar site survey and report located within 1 hours travel time from my location (SE Massachusetts) is $200. If you have neighbors or friends located nearby that need this done, we can combine the survey's into one trip and reduce your cost  by $50 each.

We will assess the best location for the system you wish to install and guide you as to the best location and type of system to meet your needs. Two shading reports will be created based upon the chosen location and complete reports will be generated from these pictures.
